WHEN THE MAIN HALL WAS ADDED TO THE CUTLERS’ HALL IN 1867 THE HADFIELD HALL WAS ADDED BELOW.

ORIGINALLY KNOW AS THE WORKMAN’S DINNING HALL THE HALL WAS REDEVELOPED AND RENAMED IN 1953 AND TODAY PROVIDES ANOTHER MAGNIFICENT ROOM WITHIN THE BUILDING.

 

The Hadfield Hall has hosted many types of function during its history, from dinners to public meetings, exhibitions to civil marriage ceremonies – in 1875 the hall was actually used as a skating rink!
